his study aims to establish an effective, pedagogical method for Bb clarinet students to successfully transfer to the bass clarinet. The differences between these two instruments are investigated by conducting a thorough review of the existing literature on the subject, combined with the opinion of professional bass clarinettists within Australia and overseas.
